I am not perfect and I never will be. I’m 40+, I ‘ve had three babies, and frankly I’m rather sweat adverse. I know, however, that I can be the best version of my self, and that everything feels better on the tighter rather than the jiggly side. Therefore, I strive for consistency and doing things that make me feel good. I simply switch up these three workouts 5-6 days a week.
When you make it easy, it’s easier to not make excuses. (Though I still manage to make them!)
1-This one is no secret-I run, walk or jog 20-30 minutes. If I am on the treadmill, I put it to 10 incline for a better booty work out! (I prefer a beach or trail run any day. )
2. Speaking of booties…My whole family loves Bum, Bum Rapido*. It’s only 10 minutes. Woo hoo! We can do anything for 10 minutes, right? –And it is hard. Even my soccer, basketball, hockey playing husband was struggling.
3. I love the 20 minute, fast-paced yoga routines from Sarah Ivanhoe**, especially power sweat with weights. Honestly, I always look my best when I keep up with yoga. If I make it up before my kids, it also gives me a little zen to start my otherwise chaotic day.
That’s it my friends. Beach ready. Not beach perfect, but ready.
Who’s ready for some sun?!
Whoever you are, wherever you are, be the best version of YOU today!
xo,
Bree
PS: Remember they say it’s 80% what you EAT. So if you are serious about this bikini thing, that post is coming soon…
*This link is great for traveling, but I have the actual DVD.
**There are a lot of her videos on YouTube as well, but I prefer the old fashioned DVD, because I am hip like that ;).
