Hey Sunshine

Midlife is often the seeking phase of our lives.

We crave more, not less

More connection, more excitement, more joy. So much of our life has gone by and yet so many years lie before us. We want them to count!

We are here to remind you...

This is your time!

Your time to start living a vibrant life where you feel excited again.

It’s time to live out loud.

It’s time to start finally living for YOU!

Hi! I’m Bree.

  • I am a Wisconsinite at heart living in South Carolina chasing lattes and sunshine. I am also a non-sporty mom to three soccer loving boys and am officially the captain of “forced family fun.”

  • My husband and I fell in love vying for spots on the Amazing Race.

  • I adore everything about farms, especially pizza farms (it’s a thing), wandering in nature, finding the cutest coffee shops and hidden gems and being a tourist in my own town.

  • I am a Sagitarrius and an Enneagram 7 so even though I didn’t grow up traveling, wanderlust and being a gypsy soul are in my blood.

  • I lived and traveled all over Mexico (still dreaming about the chilaquiles) and taught the cutest kindergarteners in Seoul, Korea.

  • My first baby, Futura Language Professionals, was the community-based Spanish school I started with a $500 loan that I grew and ran for 19 years. Selling it was my proudest accomplishment and biggest heartbreak.

  • Yes, I speak Spanish always with room to grow. I think it is the most beautiful language, and Latin America has my heart.

  • I am your #1 hype girl-as in ‘you look gorgeous in that light. I need to take your picture’, and let me tell your story so I can be sure everyone knows how fabulous you are.

  • 2005 was the year I ran my first group to Guatemala and 2023 was when I lead the first women only trip there.

  • I love kale caesars and pizza in equal parts which says everything about me.

  • Yes, we need to take another picture-on repeat. I love taking pictures. Food, nature, smiling faces…all the things.

  • I once had a food business. It was a crazy, happy whirlwind.

  • The Amazon is my happy place, and I have been four times.

  • Meeting all the amazing women on these trips has been a dream!

I am so glad you are here, and that we are connected.

I am your #1 cheerleader.

Xo, Bree

Stylized orange-red sunrise or sunset with rays extending upward and downward.

For as long as I can remember, my sister and I have embarked on a crazy annual trip that feeds my soul and reminds me of how very alive I am- tubing down the Amazon, piranha fishing, dancing on the Salt Flats, riding a hot air balloon across Colombian coffee country or eating roadside papusas in El Salvador.

Our trips, as the ‘Travel Hermanas’ is part of what inspired the Somewhere Sunny Group trips-I want every woman to feel that
